For over a quarter of a century, Flix Facilities has had a passion for program making, being the longest established and largest truly independent post-production facility in the North-West of England.
Across two sites in MediaCityUK, Flix Facilities offers state-of-the-art film and television post-production and animation facilities.
In September 2018, Flix Facilities crossed the Irish sea to take on their latest venture in the Isle of Man by setting up an on-island post-production facility.
The high-spec facility and animation studio is now home to several full-time employees, made up of both local and international talent. Flix Facilities IOM currently houses 3 edit suites, 1 dubbing theatre, 1 colour grading suite and 1 animation studio. We also have on-site accomodation including washroom and laundry facilities.
The premises also enjoys beautiful sea views across the bay, all within walking distance of Douglas.
Flix Facilities works with a range of distributors, commissioners, content creators and broadcasting houses, being on the preferred supplier list of most major broadcasters.
Our clients include Netflix, BBC (inc. CBBC & CBeebies), ITV (inc. CITV), Channel 5 Milkshake, Channel 4, Mackinnon & Saunders, Komixx Entertainment and TrueNorth Productions.
Enjoying a strong reputation with a niche in children’s TV and animation, Flix have worked on projects such as the award winning ‘Old Jack’s Boat’, ‘Postman Pat SDS’, ‘Dog Loves Books’ and several exhibition films for the Film Director Tim Burton.
This new venture in the Isle of Man sees Flix working alongside the Manx government and their vision of establishing an evergreen and sustainable media sector on the island, by repeating the successful formula that has built their existing cluster in MediaCityUK.
The Isle of Man team will be bringing many significant and exciting projects to the island which are currently in the pipeline for 2020 and beyond.
